Haylee made the Pike Middle School Basketball Team!
We just found out today and we are so excited for her!
She also made the Middle School Regions Orchestra.
We thought it was great she made the orchestra, but we didn't realize that it was extra special
until her teacher called. He called to let us know that it is rare for a student to make the orchestra in 7th grade, and especially because Haylee has never taken any private lessons.
I was excited to get the phone call until he goes on to tell me that Haylee has so much talent that she would really go far with private lessons and a much nicer violin.

Way to go, Haylee! She was not going to budge on Thursday when she knew if she made the team or not. She just had to tell mom first, and in person! She is a very talented girl. Better pony up!
