Happy Halloween

We had so much fun having lunch with the kids at school today. I had not had lunch with them yet this year so it was a super surprise when Sam and I were waiting for them in the cafeteria.

And as you can see Haylee is to good to spend Halloween with the family. :/

Trunk-or-Treat

Our ward has a Trunk-or-Treat every year. It is my favorite Halloween thing we do. This year was so fun. I had the boys costumes ready but my girls like to go to the thrift store and put something together. So the day was spent in Denton at the Thrift Store. I think their finds was a success. I need a little shout out to me for making Haylee's apron 30 minutes before it was time to leave. She decided on Alice in Wonderland right before it was time to leave.

Arizona

Did you know I went to Arizona to see my Brother Rob and his wife Stephanie and their beautiful girls??? I also went to see Mickayla :). Madilyn went with me, it was super fun to get to spend time with family! I have not got to spend much time with them so I loved every minute of our visit.

What I loved about Rob is that he starting a new business and has so much passion about it! He is a great dad and loved his man cave!

What I loved about Stephanie is you can tell that her 4 girls are her world and that she is a really great mom. She was so fun to just hang out with. Rob did great picking her. :)

What I loved about Izzy is that she is a big helper. I also loved watching her bond with Madilyn over just dance. She is also a good sport about the teasing Rob gives her.

What I love about Lyla is she is super smart! Did you know that 3 year old can tell time? She is quite the little diva too, always having to wear a dress. She is like a little adult, watch out Rob and Steph!

Lauren is just a sweetie! She talks so well! Coming from someone that has a 3 year old that I just started understanding ;). No really she is so fun to be with. Anytime she doesn't like something she calls it "Wugusting"(disgusting) that cracked me up.

And their sweet little Lyndsey. What a sweet, happy, beautiful baby. She loves her swing and sure loves her mom the best!

Homecoming Parade and Fireworks!

Haylee worked hard with her Freshman class to prepare their freshman float for the Homecoming Parade.  I had been super sick all week and was worried that I would miss this fun event.  I finally received a priesthood blessing, and woke up feeling good the day of the parade so we all go to go!  It was such a fun evening.  Most likely a new Braunersrither tradition.

FHE

Our family home evenings have been struggling lately. So Dale and I decided that we would have everyone in the family pick a Monday and a topic and we would get it on the calendar. Dale and Ben were partnered together and they decided to have a family home evening on gun safety. I was all on board thinking that's great we have friends who own guns and our kids should learn about gun safety. Well then Dale tells me that we would also be shooting guns. I have never shot a gun so yes I was nervous and so were Madi and Haylee. Dale asked a police officer in our ward to come to teach gun safety and to teach us how to shoot a gun. Our friends the Taylor's let us come to their home to shoot on their property. It was actually a really great night. I don't know that I wil ever need to shoot a gun again in my life but I feel good that my kids know gun safety. Hannah was the best at it!
