Most of you know that we have had a dog since October, a dog that followed me home from the park. It took until December for us to decide that we were really going to keep him. He is now just part of the family! All of us walk the dog but Mom is usually the one that takes him on his long walk everyday that really tires him out so he will lay around the house and not get into trouble. Well the mom of the house is pregnant and had some super sick days and the kids have not wanted to walk him because it has been in the 20's and 30's outside. Sollie still needed to get in his exercise so Mickayla trained the dog to walk/run on the treadmill. It took some time but now he does it without even being attached to his leash (that we would tie to the treadmill). Mickayla's new job after school is to put Sollie on the treadmill while she works on her homework. It is the best system ever! Mom should be feeling good soon and Sollie can start his long walks again!

I'm laughing! That is certainly one way of walking the dog. Could we tire out our children that way too? Gotta love it!
This post is the best! Love it! Love all the Christmas pics...sure miss you guys!
Thanks for my morning chuckle!!! Is that condsidered a sign of a redneck??? Mickayla you are the BEST!!!
That is funny!
Nat, I don't know if it is a sign of a redneck as much as look at the room the treadmill is in. You can see all of my food storage from the cannery stacked up. Some 12 boxes high. I like to see it out in my food storage room so I can feel proud when I count the boxes! Could that be Mormon redneck?

Trish, Also loved all the Christmas pics. The kids looked so snuggly in their new pjs, blankets and socks. We love seeing all these pics and how you celebrated the holidays. Love, Momma jan
