Happy Birthday Madilyn
Madilyn turns 9
We celebrated Madilyn's birthday with her best friend Jane, and Jane's family.
Some things I love about Madilyn...
She has a super big heart with very tender feelings.
She is a great helper with her brothers.
She can clean my bathroom like you would not believe.
She is a great writer, her stories always amaze me!
Most of all I love HER SMILE!

Erin and Sam 6 Weeks Old

Haylee's Birthday Dinner at Cheddar's
Grandpa took us out for Dinner to celebrate Haylee's Birthday.
My kids were super excited to eat out, Dale and I don't take them out very often now that we go on Weekly dates with just the two of us.
During dinner Hannah discovered that she could make her eyes cross.
So Madilyn had to try to make her eyes cross too!
Mickayla then had to get in on the action.
Hannah was the best at it!
Madilyn could do it but it took all her focus!
I have not laughed so hard at my kids in a long time!
Grandma asked Benjamin to smile for the camera,
this was the face he gave I guess he thinks he is smiling???
Samuel's Blessing Day
Samuel was just one day shy of being 5 weeks old on his blessing day.
Just like Benjamin he cried throughout his whole blessing, Dad kept his cool anyway and gave him a beautiful blessing!
Mickayla's YW Recognition Night
Mickayla shared her journey of earning her YW recognition.
She also shared how the journey brought her closer to Christ.
We displayed all of Mickayla's projects
One of Mickayla's goals was to learn hymns in the hymn book.
To display her talent she accompanied for Grandpa Tom to sing
"How Firm of Foundation."
Grandpa explained what a special song "How Firm of Foundation" is to our family.
It was such a treat to have Grandma and Grandpa be there for her special night!
Mickayla put together a slide show of her life and her time in YW.
I think it was the highlight of the night.
Dale and I each got a turn to brag on our Mickayla.
Sister Krueger, Mickayla's Personal Progress leader showed how Mickayla's name is now on the plaque that hangs on the wall in the YW room. Mickayla shares the space with the other YW who have earned this award.
Sister Stamps, the YW President...one of Mickayla's favorite people.
Bishop Krueger shared some very nice thoughts about Mickayla.
Mickayla we are so proud of you for reaching your goal to finish by your 15th birthday!
