Change of plans and money well spent!

Friday I taught early morning seminary and then my plan was to head off to the temple for my once a week temple day I’ve been taking.  Seminary went well, then I headed to the temple.  Every direction I tried to go to get to the temple there was an accident.  After an hour of trying I just started to head home feeling very frustrated.  Then I had a thought that I wasn’t supposed to go to the temple that day and then I had the thought I needed to go pick up Hannah from school.  Hannah’s school had many shooting and fight threats the day before for today.  They kids didn’t take it too serious but I couldn’t shake the thought.  So I texted her and headed over to get her.  She was happy to be leaving what was a stressful day at school.  All of the teachers had been in the halls in between classes on high alert.  The students were not even allowed to go in certain parts of the school.

After I picked her up we decided once we got home that a lunch date was needed!  So we jumped back in the car and headed to QDoba my new favorite place that has whole food options!

Yep that is soda and yes that’s a huge cold sore on my face.  I think grieving and changes that are coming in our lives has given me some stress and my body responds with cold sores.  I get new ones everyday.  The funny part is I don’t feel stressed but I guess I am, my body doesn’t lie.   And the soda might be a treat I let myself have every once in a while.  Today the drinks were free so I had a root beer!

Later that night I came home to this!  We bought the boys a new basketball hoop this week and we have not seen the boys ever since Jacob put it together Thursday night.  It’s been freezing and wet outside and they don’t care, they are still out there.  Best 80 bucks we have spent in a while!
