The first day we were at the cabin Dale parked the truck. He did not realize that the ground was very soft from all of the rain. The next day he tried to pull out and the wheels would spin and spin and the truck started sliding towards the cabin.
This pictures shows how close the car was getting.
My faithful Dad was determined that they could find a way to get the car out. They worked and worked and tried many ways before Dale called it quits and decided to call the tow company. I think my Dad would have kept working at it. But Dale was to nervous about the damage to the cabin and to our truck if it slipped anymore.
Here are my favorite men in my life watching the car being towed.
Ben showing thumbs up that the truck and the cabin is out of harms way.
A car being towed in the city of midway $160
Peace of mind that our truck would not slam into our beloved family cabin...
Priceless
