Ben smashed his finger in the door that goes out to our garage.
His finger bled and bled, I was of course thinking that kids smash their fingers all the time so his finger would be fine. But, when it kept bleeding and bleeding, Dale decided he needed to take him to the ER. So sure enough when he got to the hospital they gave him a shot in his finger for the pain and then the doctor explained that he had displaced his fingernail and would need stitches.
If you have ever seen a toddler get stitches it is pretty crazy! Ben is doing better but he still babies his finger even though his stitches are out now he still won't use his hand like he use too. This all happened when Sam was 6 days old, so you can imagine how that all added to the craziness in our home!
