We were all so excited to get on the boat but we first had to endure the 5 hour drive to Galveston!
We left at 6:00 in the morning although Grandma was up at 4:45.
The goal was to leave at 5:30.
We were really close!

Our big passenger van came in handy for this trip.
No need for two cars!
I think my parents would not have minded two cars.
It might have been a little less loud that way!

They brought their portable DVD player and head phones.
Luckily we all survived the ride!
